ATAR Trajectories are already in your HSC dashboard, built for your school. They open with an unlock code from me. If your dashboard opens ATAR Trajectories without asking for a code, it's already unlocked and you can go straight to Running your ATAR Trajectories.
Open your dashboard from your computer. Download the file and double-click it, so it opens in Chrome or Edge. Don't open it straight from OneDrive, SharePoint or Teams in your browser. Opening your files has more on this.
The steps
- Open your saved HSC dashboard from your computer and click ATAR Trajectories in the bar across the top.
- Read whether ATAR Trajectories are likely to suit your school. This is worked out from your school's own HSC results.
- Type in the unlock code from my email and click Unlock.
- A new copy of your HSC dashboard, with ATAR Trajectories unlocked, is saved to your Downloads folder. Move it to where your school keeps student data, and use that copy from now on.
- Carry on from Step 2 of Running your ATAR Trajectories.
Worth knowing
- A code only opens the file it was made for. Each December's dashboard has a new code.
- ATAR Trajectories don't suit every school. If your dashboard says it's worth talking with me first, please do, before deciding.
- Don't have a code? Email me and we can talk about whether they suit your school.
If something goes wrong
| You see | What to do |
|---|---|
| That code doesn't open this file | Check the code against my email. Make sure you're using this year's dashboard for your school, since a code only opens the file it was made for. |
| Nothing new in your Downloads folder | Check your browser's downloads list. Some schools' computers save downloads somewhere else. |
